Fresh weekly batches will start on every Monday after the announcement of RESULTS OF CIVIL SERVICES MAIN EXAM. The programme will focus on a candidate’s presentation skills and current affairs. Two mock interview for every candidate.
Interview Guidance batches for Civil Services (Main Exam), 2010 will commence from 14thMarch, 2011. A fresh batch for Interview Guidance will start every Monday. The sessions are scheduled from 5.30 P.M. to 7.30 P.M., daily.
Interview Program I
The programme will be for a duration of six days, which will comprise six sittings of two hours each, from Monday to Saturday. This programme is based on tests-runs or mock interviews. Each candidate will go through two mock interviews.
Please note that it is expected by the Study Circle that the candidates have been keeping in touch with Current Affairs/Events from the Main Examination onwards, besides brushing - up their optional subjects as well. The object of this programme is to polish the presentation skills of the candidates and not transfer of information, which the candidates are expected to be already conversant with. Hence, the Study Circle would be focusing more on the presentation techniques and smoothening of any rough edges.
The subscription for this membership is Rs.5,000/- plus Rs.300/- (Registration charges). This amount is to be paid either in cash or through a bank draft favouring “RAU'S IAS STUDY CIRCLE” payable at NEW DELHI, at the time of enrolment.
Interview Program II
A shorter programme of 3 days is also available for the candidates who are short of time due to some reason. Under this programme, candidates will be able to get one mock interview. The fee for this programme is Rs.2,500/- plus Rs.300/- (Registration charges ).
Note
The candidates who have availed of Personal or Postal Guidance from the Study Circle will be exempted from the payment of fee for Interview Guidance, on producing the fee receipt for the same.
Those desirous of joining the Study Circle for the Interview Guidance Programme, should contact us immediately with their bio-data on our prescribed form. Please note that there are limited seats for this programme and admissions are done strictly on a "first come - first served" basis.
The dates on which interviews of the successful candidates are held is decided by UPSC on a random basis, and not on the basis of their roll numbers or the alphabetical order of their names. However, normally all the candidates are covered by UPSC in about 4 weeks’ time.
